Thai Iced Tea

I had one of these the other day at a Thai restaurant. The first time I tried one it was a taste sensation. They're definitely worth a try, but pretty sweet.

Jasmine Pearls

Jasmine Green Tea Pearls are fascinating and delicious. I'm pretty amazed by the fact that they are handrolled. I just put about 10 or so in a cup, fill with hot water, and drink after a few minutes with out straining. The little balls unfurl into whole leaves and settle to the bottom of the cup.
It's quite delightful!

Pomegranate Lychee Green Tea

I love POM tea. The people that make the pomegranate juice is those woobly shaped bottles, also make a variety of pomegranate teas. This Pomegranate Lychee Green Tea is definitely my favorite. I would describe the taste as "magical." Until recently, the bottles were made of glass in the shape a drinking glass, so you could reuse them. I was starting to collect them and they were the highest quality glasses in my kitchen. :) I guess they got too expensive for POM to make.

Green Smoothies

I started drinking these about a year ago. It may be an acquired taste but I find them very refreshing. My husband even likes them. When I was making one, my little niece even asked to try it, and she really liked it.

My favorite way to make them is:

1 banana

1 kale leaf (minus the the thick stalk)

1 tbs hemp seed

a few ice cubes

1/2 cup frozen pineapple

1/2 cup water (to be able to blend it and make desired consistency)

1 tsp. green powder supplement (optional)

Blend it up, poor it in a cup, and pop in a straw.

Delish.

Japanese Teapot Set

I would love to have a lovely little teapot set. It really transforms tea drinking into a delightful experience. It almost makes it taste better. :) Where I live, they're kinda hard to find locally and the ones that I have seen here can get pretty expensive. Right now I'm eyeing this one, from Mountain Rose Herbs.

Indian Chai Tea

Last week I went to an Indian Restaurant and tried their Chai Tea. It's very different from the typical overly sweet kind you find at most coffee shops. I'm now on mission to find a great recipe for chai tea and make it from scratch using some marvelous spices.

Spiced Apple Brew

My husband likes to sample interesting beverages at the local natural foods store and the other day he picked up this little diddy. It's Reed's Spiced Apple Brew and it's now his new favorite. It's like apple pie in a refreshing beverage form. It has zesty ingredients like fresh ginger root and cinnamon ...and the best part? There's "no preservatives and no artificial anything!"

This one definitely falls into
the "Taste Sensation" category.

Tulsi Tea by Organic India

From the box design to the flavors, I find Tulsi Teas to be so enticing. Examples of their flavors are Sweet Rose, Chai Masala, Orange Mint, and Pomegranate Green Tea....plus they're all organic!

Green Mountain Coffee

Somehow, this time around, college has led me to become a coffee drinker. I've gone from the occasional sweet blended frappuccino to actually buying a coffee pot. I found the Green Mountain House Blend in the health food section at Fred Meyers. I'm not an expert, but this is pretty good. I especially love that it's Organic and Fair Trade. Green Mountain has a lot of variety and seems like a really great company.

Chai Tea Kit

I love this Chai Tea Kit. I haven't tried it myself but I think it's a great idea. Making a pot of Chai Tea with this kit would be delightful! When I first learned that real chai is made like this I really wanted to do it, but haven't gotten around to gathering all of the ingredients. This kit would definitely make it easier and I think it would make such a creative gift too! It's available at www.purposedesign.etsy.com for $38.00
